Welcome to Thunder Alley!
HO drag racing? That's right an article in Drag Racing (magazine) sparked my interest HO scale drag racing in 1990. This article went on to talk about Brett Kepner and a group of IHRA racers (Jim "the Animal" Fuerer, Bill "200 MPH" Kuhlman, Greg Moss to name few) who drag raced on a HO scale quarter mile during the winter months. I was absolutely floored! Drag racing on a HO scale was very popular in the late 60's and early 70's but today? The 1/24th scale guys were out there doing their thing so why not HO? With the new millennium here HO drag racing is starting to catch on with many small groups now finding each other with the help of the Internet.
